Well I'm not really a new member, but I'll get the ball started anyway.

I'm born and raised in Cape Breton, if that wasn't obvious from my avatar. I'm currently studying at Dalhousie.

I am at the moment a card-carrying PC member. During this election, I found myself defending things in the party that I knew were unethical and not in the best interest of Nova Scotians. I felt obligated to do so because, like many people, I felt like I should fight for the lesser evil. I don't want to be put in that situation again. We need a new deal for Nova Scotians, and this party, I believe, is the answer to that.

What I appreciate the most about this party, despite how small it is at the moment, is its commitment to openness, and I hope that continues. I look forward to campaigning and discussing issues with other supporters of the movement!

My name is Scott, I currently reside in Riverview, NB. I found this site/party on the libertarian page so I thought I'd investigate.

My political beliefs are primarily Libertarian but even then, I have questions/issues with some policies. Right now, I'm struggling to find a way to fight back against our current totalitarian government whether it be PC or Liberal, they're both the same in my book. Here in NB we're in big big trouble, our Liberal government is not only putting us in an uncontrollable deficit, but also turning more into a corrupt dictatorship as well, this leads me to this up and coming party.

Mr. Dean, your party is very interesting but I find your platform quite vague so I have many questions. Nice to meet all of you.

Hi Folks :D

My name is Rob, I am a consumer electronic technician/power engineer living in Halifax, BAN Nova Scotia BANANAda. I began investigating the organized criminals and terrorists known as our governments approx 10 years ago. I started when the smoker bans (Big Pharma promoted government endorsed segregation and hate for profit) began. The "main stream media" monopoly has been repeatedly failing society at taking the political trash to the curb, bought and silenced via lucrative advertising campaigns in "social engineering" and "denormalization" paid for by the very same individuals they attack. The public is being divided and sub divided into targeted groups.

These organized criminals and terrorists pretending to be politicians stop representing and respecting the taxpayers who bothered to show up for the charade known as "elections" the very minute those polls close. Special interest groups, NGO, and etc., claiming to be the voice of the people then take priority and our taxes are funneled to them en-mass. When was the last time you voted anyone in or out of office within the United Nations/World Health Organization or any other similar "charity"/lobby groups?? Why do they dictate to our "governments"??

Canada now requires a "political enema" of all levels of all parties all across this once great nation. We are no longer strong or free. I am ashamed to admit I'm a Canadian knowing how corrupt our governments and every last one of our institutions are. I belong to no political party, I trust none of them. Why is there not a "none of the above" option on the election ballots in a "democratic" society?? The global revolution has begun and we will take back what these terrorists have stolen from us.

Canada, life in a Banana republic....
In modern usage the term has come to be used to describe a generally
unstable or "backward" dictatorial regime, especially one where
elections are often fraudulent and corruption is rife. By extension,
the word is occasionally applied to governments where a strong leader
hands out appointments and advantages to friends and supporters,
without much consideration for the law. A banana republic can also be
used to describe a country where a large part of its economy and
politics are controlled by foreign powers or even corporations.

Analysis
Childhood protection and obesity: framework for practice

The suggestion that childhood obesity may raise child protection concerns has generated increasing media and professional interest.1 2 3 The British Medical Association annual meeting in 2007 rejected a motion suggesting that childhood obesity in under 12s should result in legal protection for the child and parents being charged with neglect.4 However, a BBC survey of 50 consultant paediatricians that month reported that obesity had been a factor in at least 20 child protection cases in the previous year.3 In October 2008, the UK Local Government Association warned that increasing child protection actions related to childhood obesity would be a future cost pressure for local councils.5 Similar concerns are evident internationally,6 7 with case reports of US courts acting to remove obese children from their parents.8
